One lucky winner drove home a brand new 2010 Hyundai Genesis on February 20th after a huge celebration followed by a Black Eyed Peas concert in Charlotte.
Weeks of qualifying contestants in the Bob Mayberry Hyundai Genesis Giveaway culminated on Saturday February 20th at Charlotte's Uptown Epicenter.
After qualifications and concert ticket giveaways to see the Black Eyed Peas, 96 contestants were selected from over 7,000 entries and invited to participate in the drawing of the new Hyundai Genesis.
The event was broadcast live on WIBT 96.1 from Wild Wing Café at the Epicenter.
Hundreds of spectators gathered to watch as Bob Mayberry, Jr. presented the keys of the new Hyundai Genesis to Brittney Byers. Brittney was ecstatic as she realized she had actually won the new Genesis.
" We are pleased to give this incredible new car to a deserving winner and thank everyone who participated," said Bob Mayberry, Jr.
The Grammy Award winning Black Eyed Peas helped select the winner by announcing the random winning numbers.
